The third cooperative for technology-based scrap collection has 10 members operating in various areas such as Vy Da, Thuan Hoa, and Phu Xuan wards. This is an important expansion of the smart scrap collection network, aiming for each ward and commune to have at least one person working in the "technology-based scrap collection" profession responsible for collecting recyclable waste for local residents.
A key highlight of the cooperative is the application of digital technology through the mGreen Collector mobile platform – a modern application that allows people to quickly and conveniently schedule recycling collection. Members of the cooperative will use this application to receive orders, purchase recyclable waste, and are also supported in tracking transaction history, cash flow, and managing customers effectively.
In particular, in addition to cash payments, buyers can also use mGreen points (equivalent to 1 point = 1 VND) as a unit of exchange, creating a flexible, transparent, and convenient trading ecosystem.

Since 2023, the TVA Project has established two "technology-based scrap collection" cooperatives in An Dong ward (now An Cuu ward) and Huong So ward (now Huong An ward). These cooperatives quickly mastered the mGreen Collector application, contributing to improved collection efficiency and better livelihoods for workers in the scrap collection sector.
The establishment of Cooperative Group No. 3 is a significant milestone, contributing to the expansion of the technology-based scrap collection network throughout the city. Previously, residents could only schedule collection through the application in certain wards like Phu Xuan or Thuan Hoa; now, all 40 wards and communes of Hue City will gradually be connected with scrap collectors through a modern digital platform, contributing to promoting a green, clean, and circular urban environment.
The TVA project was developed with funding from WWF-Norway (through WWF-Vietnam) and adopted by the People's Committee of Hue City with the aim of supporting the city in protecting rivers and wetland and coastal ecosystems from plastic waste pollution.
