Recall of Padobaby oral powder

SKĐS - The Thanh Hoa Department of Health has issued a notice to all units, localities, and drug businesses to urgently recall all Padobaby powdered oral medication.

According to Decision No. 696 dated November 25th by the Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health , regarding the notification of recall of drugs violating level 3 regulations.

To protect the rights of drug users, the Thanh Hoa Department of Health has instructed all drug businesses and users throughout the province to urgently recall all Padobaby oral powder (each 3g sachet contains: chlorpheniramine maleate 2mg; Paracetamol 325mg); Registration Number: 893100414024 (Old registration number: VD-3229219); Batch number: 110224; Manufacturing date: 21/02/2024; Expiry date: 20/02/2027, manufactured by Medipharco Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.

The Thanh Hoa Department of Health has just issued an urgent notice to recall all Padobaby powdered oral medication.

The reason for the recall is that the drug violated regulations at level 3 and needs to be returned to the supplier. A report on the recall results must be submitted to the Department of Health before December 25th.

At the same time, it is requested that the People's Committees of communes and wards organize the dissemination of information to drug businesses and users in their areas, as well as to the public, so that they are aware of and do not trade or use Padobaby powdered medicine with the above-mentioned characteristics. In accordance with their assigned functions, duties, and authority, they should inspect and supervise the recall of the medicine and handle units and individuals who violate current regulations.

The Thanh Hoa Testing Center is tasked with directly supervising and monitoring the recall of the aforementioned drugs. The relevant departments of the Department of Health will inspect the implementation of this notice and, following the recall, will handle any units or individuals found to be in violation according to current regulations.
