According to the program, the delegation will focus on surveying prominent destinations in Da Nang and Central Vietnam such as Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area, the Marble Mountains National Special Monument, the Cham Sculpture Museum and Hoi An ancient town ( Quang Nam ).

Within the framework of the famtrip program, the Department of Tourism organized a seminar on the topic "Solutions to attract the Indonesian tourist market and promote the opening of flight routes from Indonesia to Da Nang".

Here, Indonesian travel agencies were provided with an overview of the destination, including typical products and services, service capacity, and the achievements of Da Nang's tourism development in recent years. At the same time, the Indonesian side also introduced the local businesses to an overview of their market.

At the seminar, local businesses and Indonesian partners met and networked to explore opportunities for cooperation.

Participating businesses also focused on discussing solutions to effectively utilize flight routes from Indonesia, including charter flights, connecting flights, and promoting the opening of direct flight routes.

Indonesia is considered a market with great potential, boasting the world's fourth-largest population and the largest in Southeast Asia with over 280 million people. While the Indonesian Muslim market isn't overly strict, services labeled Halal-friendly will encourage customers to use them more often.

Reportedly, with a focus on diversifying its source markets and prioritizing specific markets such as the Muslim market, Da Nang tourism is strengthening its promotional efforts targeting the Indonesian market, with a particular emphasis on developing Halal services.

In 2023, Da Nang received over 26,000 Indonesian tourists, accounting for approximately 25% of the total number of Indonesian tourists visiting Vietnam.
