On her personal page, model Dianka Zakhidova – wife of goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung – shared a series of photos of her husband after his successful knee surgery. The goalkeeper from Thanh Hoa was wearing a patient gown, with an IV needle still in his arm, and his knee carefully bandaged.
“We’re fine. The surgery was successful. Thank you for all the warm messages and support. He’s currently resting and focusing on his recovery,” Dianka wrote, also thanking fans for their continued care and encouragement during this difficult time.
Despite having just undergone surgery, Bui Tien Dung maintained a calm demeanor and a gentle smile while posing for photos with his wife. Lying beside her husband, Dianka's affectionate gaze and radiant smile showed the strong bond and support she has given the 1997-born goalkeeper during this challenging period.

In the match between Da Nang and The Cong Viettel , which Da Nang lost 1-2 in Round 7 of the V.League 2025/26 on October 20th, Bui Tien Dung suffered a serious injury after a collision with striker Lucao. He left the field on a stretcher and was taken for examination. An MRI scan on October 21st confirmed that Dung had torn his anterior cruciate ligament and required surgery.
The successful surgery has somewhat reassured fans, but it is highly likely that Tien Dung will have to miss the rest of the 2025/26 season to fully recover. During his absence, goalkeeper Phan Van Bieu has been entrusted by coach Duc Tuan with the starting position in goal for Da Nang .
Despite facing a long period of treatment and recovery, Tien Dung's positive spirit, along with Dianka's support, gives fans the belief that he will soon return stronger than ever on the field.
