Viet Tri City Martyrs' Cemetery.
Implementing the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee's plan to collect DNA samples from relatives of unidentified martyrs, the Department of Internal Affairs and the Provincial Police, in coordination with the People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns, have reviewed, collected information, and entered data into the National Population Database system for 10,470 maternal relatives of unidentified martyrs, serving the purpose of DNA sample collection. This includes 197 cases of martyrs' biological mothers and 7 cases of mothers of martyrs' biological mothers.
In Phu Tho province, DNA sample collection will take place from May 7th to May 10th, 2025. Sample collection will be held in four clusters across the province, primarily at the People's Committees of the districts. Cluster 1 will collect samples on May 7th, 2025, including Viet Tri City, Phu Tho town, and the districts of Lam Thao and Phu Ninh (at the People's Committee of Viet Tri City). Cluster 2 will collect samples on May 8th, 2025, including the districts of Thanh Ba, Ha Hoa, and Doan Hung (at the People's Committee of Thanh Ba district). Cluster 3 will collect samples on May 9th, 2025, including the districts of Thanh Thuy, Tam Nong, and Thanh Son (at the People's Committee of Thanh Son district). Cluster 4 will collect samples on May 9th, 2025, including the districts of Cam Khe, Yen Lap, and Tan Son (at the People's Committee of Cam Khe district).
On May 10, 2025, mobile sample collection will be conducted at the residences of citizens who are unable to travel. The service will begin at 8:00 AM daily.
