The Vietnam Expressway Investment and Development Corporation (VEC) has just announced traffic management and additional service fees for using the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway at the Phu Thu interchange (section Km224+060 to Km229+200) and the Liem Son interchange (section Km239+800 to Km242+900), applying a new service fee schedule with 100% closed toll collection and electronic toll collection without stopping.
When traveling through this area, vehicles must strictly adhere to the road markings, traffic lights, road signs, and the regulations of the authorities and the route management unit. VEC stated that it will apply a closed toll collection system, meaning that the fee will be calculated based on the actual distance traveled by the vehicle, combined with 100% electronic toll collection (ETC) at all toll lanes.

Previously, on May 22nd, the Vietnam Road Administration issued decisions approving traffic management plans at the Phu Thu and Liem Son intersections on the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway.
Vehicles traveling through the area of the two intersections must comply with the road signage system, road markings, traffic lights, and instructions from law enforcement and the route management unit.
The toll collection method applied is a closed toll system, calculating fees based on the actual distance traveled. All toll lanes on the route will implement electronic toll collection (ETC).
According to the published price list, the lowest fee for vehicles with fewer than 12 seats, trucks under 2 tons, and public buses traveling through the Phu Thu - Liem Tuyen section is nearly 7,000 VND per trip.
The highest toll fee applied to trucks weighing 18 tons or more and container trucks 40 feet or more on the Dai Xuyen - Liem Son route is over 221,000 VND per trip.

For the journey between the Phu Thu - Liem Son intersections, the toll fee ranges from approximately 24,500 VND to over 98,000 VND depending on the type of vehicle.
VEC also noted that the current price list is applying a policy of reducing the value-added tax to 8%. In the event that the tax reduction policy of the competent authority ends, the service fees throughout the system will automatically be adjusted to apply the price list including 10% VAT.
All vehicles passing through the intersection must pay the full toll, except for certain cases exempted by Decree No. 130/2024/ND-CP issued by the Government on October 10, 2024, and related replacement and supplementary regulations.
