The official dispatch stated that the appearance of transportation infrastructure nationwide has undergone many positive changes. To date, the country has completed 2,476km of expressways, modern airports such as Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Phu Bai, and Dien Bien international airports; seaports such as Lach Huyen and Cai Mep - Thi Vai; and urban railway lines in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City… contributing to the overall development of the country.
The Prime Minister extended his congratulations and warmly commended the investors, project management boards, consulting firms, contractors, and tens of thousands of engineers and workers who have been working tirelessly day and night on key national construction sites.
Despite the National Day holidays, at construction sites of the North-South Expressway (Eastern section, 2021-2025) (including the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon, Can Tho - Hau Giang, and Hau Giang - Ca Mau sections); the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang, Dong Dang - Tra Linh, and Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang expressways; major urban transport projects such as the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, An Phu interchange, and the Nhon - Hanoi Station metro line; the Long Thanh International Airport project; and energy projects, 110kV and medium- and low-voltage power grids in the South, thousands of officials and workers worked "three shifts, four teams," "working through holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year)."
The forces have overcome difficulties, ensuring the progress, quality, safety, and efficiency of investment projects, contributing to the realization of the goals for 2025: completing over 3,000km of expressways, over 1,700km of coastal roads, basically completing the Long Thanh International Airport project, and many other strategic infrastructure projects.
The Prime Minister stated that the achievements have made a significant contribution to infrastructure development, promoting socio-economic growth, improving people's lives, and creating a vibrant and practical atmosphere of emulation to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.
Currently, construction projects are in their final, peak stages. To continue building on the achievements already made, and to accelerate the implementation of key projects, the goal is to have them commenced and inaugurated on December 19th (the 79th anniversary of the National Resistance Day) to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party for the 2025-2030 term.
Therefore, the Prime Minister requested ministries, sectors, localities, investors, project management boards, and contractors to continue to demonstrate determination and extraordinary efforts, acting with the motto "faster, even faster," "bolder, even bolder, more effective, even more effective"; determined to complete key projects according to the set plan so that groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies can be held on December 19th.
The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Construction, in its role as the permanent agency of the State Steering Committee for important national and key construction projects, to direct investors to focus on accelerating investment preparation procedures and organizing construction in "3 shifts, 4 teams" to ensure the commencement and inauguration of projects on December 19th, especially the North-South Expressway, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, Long Thanh International Airport, etc.
