Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that the 10-year socio-economic development strategy 2021-2030 has determined that by 2030 (the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding), Vietnam will be a developing country with industry. modern, high average income and define a vision to become a developed, high-income country by 2045 (the 100th anniversary of the country's founding). Vietnam strives that by 2030, GDP per capita will reach about 7.500 USD. In the next 5 years (2021-2025), Vietnam determines the average economic growth rate (GDP) to reach about 6,5 - 7%/year. By 2025, GDP per capita will be about 4.700-5.000 USD.
To achieve strategic socio-economic breakthroughs, Vietnam develops based on 5 perspectives.
