Thanh Hoa suffered a heavy defeat against CAHN, ending their unbeaten streak.

On the afternoon of June 5th, the highlight match of Round 11 of the V-League 2023 took place between Thanh Hoa and Hanoi Police (CAHN).

After the opening whistle, both teams launched into an attacking game with back-and-forth exchanges.

In the 20th minute, receiving a cross from the left wing, Lam Ti Phong weaved past two CAHN players and headed the ball into the net past goalkeeper Le Giang, opening the scoring for Thanh Hoa.

After conceding a goal, CAHN started to increase their pace and put considerable pressure on the home team's goal.

In the 37th minute, from a set piece, the ball was lofted into the box for Gustavo Henrique to break free and head the ball into the net, beating goalkeeper Thanh Diệp and bringing the game back to a tie.

For the remainder of the first half, both teams played openly but neither managed to score any more goals.

At the start of the second half, Thanh Hoa were awarded a penalty. However, from the penalty spot, Bruno Cunha's shot hit the crossbar and went out.

After narrowly avoiding defeat, CAHN seemed to awaken and began to create some noteworthy attacking moves.

In the 69th minute, following an attack down the left wing, Van Hau crossed the ball into the box for Van Thanh to tap it into the net against Thanh Hoa.

For the remainder of the match, Thanh Hoa continued to increase the pressure but failed to find an equalizer and accepted a 1-4 defeat against CAHN.

This result also ended Thanh Hoa's 10-match unbeaten streak in the V-League 2023.

However, the Thanh Hoa team still leads the table with 22 points, one point ahead of CAHN after round 11 of V-League 2023.
