In light of the above situation, the Party Committee and government of Thuan Bac district have focused on leading and directing, consolidating and strengthening the political system, improving the leadership capacity of grassroots Party organizations, and enhancing the management and operation of all levels of government. They have unified action programs, set goals for each stage, and initially effectively exploited the potential and advantages of the locality, thereby improving the material and spiritual lives of the people.

Previously, agricultural production was limited to monoculture rice farming, heavily dependent on weather conditions. Now, with a proactive and creative approach and sound strategic direction, agricultural production has been revitalized. Infrastructure serving production has received significant investment, and the district has identified several crops suitable to the soil conditions of each region, such as rice, hybrid corn, mung beans, sesame, aloe vera, and custard apple. Many new and effective models have been replicated, and the conversion of production models has been successful. 385 hectares of rice paddies in water-scarce hilly areas have been converted to dryland crops, resulting in a 1.5-2 fold increase in economic efficiency. Notably, some areas have switched to growing aloe vera and golden melons, increasing economic efficiency by 3 times compared to previous farming methods, boosting agricultural production in all three aspects: area, yield, and production value. The livestock sector continues to develop steadily in a safe, efficient, and economically valuable direction. Models for raising cattle, goats, sheep, black pigs, and native chickens are maintained and expanded, becoming an important sector in local agricultural production. As a result, the value of production in the water-dependent area currently reaches over 110 million VND/hectare/year; average per capita income has increased from 2.2 million VND/person in 2005 to 62 million VND/person/year; and the agricultural and forestry structure has an average annual growth rate of over 14.6%.

From a purely agricultural district, Thuan Bac is now becoming a key area for renewable energy in the province. By creatively applying central and provincial policies, especially the special mechanisms under Government Resolution No. 115/NQ-CP on the renewable energy development program, the district has focused on management and directed efforts to remove obstacles for investors; as a result, more and more projects are coming into operation. To date, the district has 8 wind and solar power projects with a total capacity of 857MW connected to the national grid. Along with this, several processed industrial products and construction materials production are continuously expanding their scale; the infrastructure of the Du Long Industrial Park has initially attracted 5 secondary investors to invest in production and business, contributing to job creation and increased income for local people.

A key development in recent years has been the successful seizing of opportunities and leveraging natural advantages, creating a new transformation in tourism activities. The district has actively coordinated with provincial departments and agencies to attract economic entities to explore and invest in large-scale tourism projects. Notable examples include the Binh Tien Tourist Area, the Nui Chua Village Community Ecotourism Area, and two accommodation facilities. Through promotional and advertising efforts, approximately 280,400 visitors have been attracted to the area during holidays, Tet (Lunar New Year), and summer vacations each year, generating an estimated tourism revenue of 25 billion VND. Commercial and service activities have also seen rapid development, with the district focusing on implementing comprehensive solutions to support businesses and households in production, trade, and goods circulation. Commercial infrastructure and socialized investment in market development have yielded positive results, with 4 out of 5 communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas now having commune markets. The total retail sales of goods and service revenue are estimated to reach 2,536 billion VND by 2025.

Thuan Bac today has changed considerably, with its rural landscape becoming increasingly vibrant. Thanks to the State's investment, especially the New Rural Development program, the local people have voluntarily contributed their labor and money alongside the local government to build infrastructure. The transportation system from commune to village level has been paved with concrete and asphalt, facilitating travel and trade between regions; the national power grid covers 100% of the area. Healthcare and education have improved; thousands of poor and near-poor households, ethnic minorities, and families receiving preferential treatment have received financial support for housing construction and production land, boosting their living standards. Patriotic emulation movements have been widely implemented and received positive responses from the people, contributing to the successful achievement of the local socio-economic development and national defense and security goals and tasks.

The achievements provide significant impetus for the district to continue striving forward, with the orientation of building a clean and strong Party and political system; enhancing the leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations and promoting the exemplary role of each Party member in leading and directing socio-economic development tasks. Focus on shifting the agricultural production structure based on leveraging the advantages of each region and locality, especially high-value crops and livestock with competitive advantages in the market; increasing the proportion of livestock farming to become the main production sector. Make the best use of potential and advantages, striving to make the district a key renewable energy region of the province; encourage economic sectors to invest in the development of trade and services. Fully and promptly implement social security policies; maintain local security and defense.
