Over 80 officials and business owners in Ha Tinh province were provided with information on the application of technology in management, operation, and digital transformation in tourism activities.
On the morning of October 6th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Tourism Information Center (Vietnam National Tourism Administration), organized a training conference on digital transformation in tourism activities in Ha Tinh province in 2023. The program had over 80 participants, including tourism officials from the culture and information departments of districts, towns, and cities, tourism businesses, and representatives from tourist areas and attractions in the province.
At the conference, participants were introduced to the policies and directions for digital transformation in the tourism industry, as well as some information technology applications and products in management, operation, and digital transformation in tourism activities such as the Vietnam Tourism Yellow Pages; the Vietnam card - the national tourism card; the "Vietnam Travel" application, etc. In the photo: Lecturer Nguyen Duy Minh - Head of the Information Technology and Communication Department, Tourism Information Center, Vietnam National Tourism Administration, introduces applications in the tourism industry.
The training program also included instructions on using software for receiving and sending tourism statistics reports in accordance with Circular No. 18/2021/TT/BVHTTDL dated December 31, 2021, of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In addition, trainees exchanged and discussed with instructors many topics related to digital transformation trends in the tourism sector. The conference aims to help state tourism management agencies and businesses grasp the digital transformation directions in the tourism sector; contribute to changing perceptions and practices, and open up new ways to apply information technology in providing tourism services, thereby promoting business growth and development of the tourism industry in Ha Tinh province in general. |
