Positive signs
According to the assessment of the Provincial People's Committee, the import and export activities of Tay Ninh province in 2025 continued to make a strong impression, with the total import and export value of enterprises in the province reaching 25.67 billion USD, an increase of 11.9%, equivalent to an increase of 2.72 billion USD compared to the same period last year, and accounting for 3.4% of the total import and export value of the whole country.
Of this total, exports amounted to US$14.59 billion, an increase of nearly 10%, or US$1.31 billion; imports totaled US$11.08 billion, an increase of 14.6%, or US$1.41 billion, compared to the same period last year. Many key export product groups of Tay Ninh are recording positive growth, such as textiles, footwear, rubber, electronic components, processed agricultural products, and wood products, with key markets including the United States, Japan, South Korea, China, the EU, and Halal.
Expanded export activities, penetrating new markets with high demands such as the EU, the US, and Halal standards, affirm the integration capacity and international competitiveness of local businesses. Regarding agricultural exports, the province has strictly managed and monitored planting area codes and packaging facilities, supporting the connection between production and consumption to maintain export markets. The province is also promoting the development of large-scale, concentrated livestock farming, applying high technology, and establishing disease-free breeding facilities and zones.

Many businesses are ramping up production for export to meet the high demand of the year-end market.
Hung Nhon Group, together with its partner De Heus (Netherlands), has chosen Tay Ninh as the location for implementing a high-tech livestock farming project, aiming for the Halal market in the 2025-2030 period. Over the past time, Hung Nhon Group has also collaborated with international certification organizations to complete the documentation, procedures, and management system in accordance with Halal standards.
Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Vice President of the Vietnam Digital Agriculture Association (VIDA) and Chairman of Hung Nhon Group, stated that the entire production process, from breeding stock and feed to farming practices, strictly adheres to Halal requirements, avoiding the use of prohibited ingredients. This aims to meet the demands of the potentially lucrative Muslim market and ensure a clean, stable, and safe farming environment.
Forecasts indicate that from now until the end of the year, key products such as durian, dragon fruit, and pomelo will experience high growth rates to meet the demand for festivals and Lunar New Year celebrations in many countries. Currently, businesses are preparing high-quality supplies and proactively developing transportation methods to access markets as smoothly as possible.

Agricultural products are produced according to VietGAP standards, with a focus on export.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thu, General Director of Chanh Thu Fruit Import-Export Group Joint Stock Company, said: "To export agricultural products to the world, the company has cooperated with units and cooperatives producing according to VietGAP standards and holding export certifications. At the same time, the company also verifies the pesticides used by these units and cooperatives to ensure the safest possible products."
In industrial parks and economic zones, many FDI enterprises operate in the fields of textiles, footwear, machinery, electronics, and agricultural processing. Among these, textiles and footwear account for the largest share of export turnover and are accelerating delivery schedules to meet the year-end peak season.
Strengthening trade promotion
To support businesses in taking advantage of year-end opportunities, the province has implemented a comprehensive range of trade promotion activities both domestically and internationally. The Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with industry associations and the Center for Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion, organized survey trips, supply and demand connections, and product introductions in Cambodia, South Korea, China, and other countries.
The Cambodian market, in particular – with which Tay Ninh shares a long border – continues to be prioritized for promotion through various programs connecting businesses in both countries. Vietnamese agricultural products, construction materials, and consumer goods are considered to have a significant competitive advantage and are favored by Cambodian people and businesses.
Simultaneously, the province is focusing on promoting digital trade activities, supporting businesses in transforming their marketing models through e-commerce platforms, online conferences, and building digital brand identities for OCOP products and key products of the province.

Tam Lan Tea Co., Ltd. has been recognized as a high-quality Vietnamese product for 15 consecutive years. For many years, the company has applied a green, circular agricultural model, which not only brings high economic efficiency but also actively contributes to environmental protection, aiming for sustainable development. In particular, since 2022, the company has put into operation a new production plant that meets GMP-ISO 22000:2018 standards, which has contributed to creating high-quality products that have been rated as 4-star OCOP (One Commune One Product).
According to Ms. Vo Thi Lan, Director of Tam Lan Tea Co., Ltd., in addition to strictly adhering to safe production processes, the province's trade promotion activities have contributed to Tam Lan tea's nationwide reach and presence in many international markets.
In the final months of the year, the company will continue to ramp up production to supply the market with new, high-quality products and ensure the high consumer demand is met.
In addition to trade promotion, the province and relevant agencies are focusing on resolving obstacles faced by export businesses: access to credit, customs procedures, logistics, and quality standards; and accelerating the completion of transportation infrastructure connecting border gates and industrial zones and clusters to reduce logistics costs for businesses.
Speaking at a recent provincial trade promotion conference, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh stated: "With the province's potential and strengths, along with a determination to innovate and integrate, Tay Ninh is committed to creating the most favorable conditions in terms of infrastructure, land, human resources, and investment environment so that businesses can confidently produce, conduct business, and cooperate in the long term."
With the coordinated efforts of the government and the self-driven efforts of businesses, Tay Ninh expects to achieve and surpass its export turnover target this year. Key industries are continuing to expand production, improve technology, and enhance product quality to meet the increasingly high demands of the international market.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just issued Official Dispatch No. 221/CD-TTg dated November 19, 2025, requesting ministries, sectors, localities, and state-owned enterprises to focus on maintaining macroeconomic stability and boosting exports amidst complex global developments. Accordingly, the Prime Minister instructed ministries and agencies to harmonize fiscal and monetary policies; control inflation; and ensure major balances. Specifically: The State Bank of Vietnam will manage credit, exchange rates, and interest rates flexibly to support production. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will promote year-end exports, boost trade promotion, diversify markets, and negotiate new FTAs. The Ministry of Finance will review import and export taxes and develop plans to support businesses affected by the US retaliatory tariffs. Relevant ministries and agencies should strengthen market opening and support businesses in taking advantage of FTAs; localities should proactively remove obstacles to production and export; and businesses should improve their competitiveness, expand markets and supply chains. |
