Tra Tap commune has 21 policy households, including 14 war invalids and 7 meritorious people. In recent times, in addition to taking good care of the regimes and encouraging their spirit, this mountainous locality has also actively implemented practical activities such as building gratitude houses, collecting martyrs' remains, mobilizing the "Repaying gratitude" fund... to improve the material and spiritual life quality of policy families. Particularly on the occasion of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27) this year, the commune leaders organized and assigned working groups to visit each policy household.
Ms. Pham Thi My Hanh - Standing Deputy Secretary of Tra Tap Commune Party Committee said: “Tra Tap is the cradle of the Quang revolution during the resistance war against the US, with the protection and care of the Xe Dang and Ca Dong people. Taking care of families with meritorious services and meritorious people not only demonstrates the morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking water", but also educates about tradition and arouses pride in the younger generation”.

In Tay Giang commune, after receiving 681 gifts from the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the locality promptly met and handed them directly to the beneficiaries. Tay Giang commune alone allocated the budget and the Gratitude Fund to visit and give gifts to 7 relatives of Armed Forces Heroes, relatives of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and 36 children of meritorious people.
Mr. Bhling Mia - Secretary of the Party Committee of Tay Giang commune shared that thanks to the care and encouragement of the Party and the State, policy families and meritorious people in the commune have overcome difficulties to improve their lives, actively develop the economy and sustainably reduce poverty. The valuable thing is that war invalids and sick soldiers always promote the nature of Uncle Ho's soldiers, being typical examples in the movement of helping each other develop together and join hands to build new rural areas.

For Dong Duong commune, taking care of policy families is considered an important task, which is being carried out with attention by the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and local organizations. This locality currently has 1 living Vietnamese Heroic Mother, 97 wounded soldiers, 26 sick soldiers, 18 people who participated in the resistance war and were infected with toxic chemicals, 144 people who contributed to the revolution, 64 people who participated in the resistance war and were imprisoned by the enemy. In addition, in the commune, there are 304 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers who have sacrificed and passed away; 1,136 relatives are worshiping martyrs.
On the occasion of July 27 this year, in addition to visiting and giving gifts of encouragement, Dong Duong Commune People's Committee also presented 60 savings books to 60 policy beneficiaries and meritorious people.
Mr. Dang Huu Thong (in Bac Binh Son village, Dong Duong commune), the son of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Duong Thi Huong (98 years old this year), said that his mother had two children, Dang Huu Trung and Dang Thi Hoa, who died in the resistance war against the US. In recent times, policies on martyr worship and care for Heroic Vietnamese Mothers have been given careful attention by all levels and sectors, especially during holidays. Some units and enterprises have taken care of her for life. This is a great consolation and encouragement for the family to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, raising their children to become good people, and contributing to the development of their homeland and country.
