The investment project to build Ring Road 4 – Hanoi Capital Region, the section passing through Ha Dong district, has a length of approximately 5.5km, with a total land area requiring clearance of 68.16 hectares, located in 4 wards: Phu Lam, Phu Luong, Dong Mai and Yen Nghia. |
The image shows the Ring Road 4 project starting in Ha Dong district, beginning in Yen Nghia ward at the Yen Nghia drainage pump station water channel, adjacent to Dong La commune, Hoai Duc district. |
Reportedly, the progress of the Ring Road 4 project, passing through 7 districts and counties of Hanoi city including Soc Son, Me Linh, Dan Phuong, Hoai Duc, Ha Dong, Thanh Oai and Thuong Tin, has basically met the set requirements. |
However, for construction sites with weak soil foundations, such as in Ha Dong district, the construction unit has not yet been handed over the land ( agricultural land, residential land, factory land, graves, existing underground and aboveground infrastructure, etc.), thus facing difficulties in ensuring the progress of the embankment and loading work for the weak soil treatment sections. |
Ring Road 4 intersects with National Highway 6 in Ha Dong District. This area is considered one of the major interchanges of the project. |
In the Phu Lam, Phu Luong, and Dong Mai wards, the Ring Road 4 project is entering the preparatory phase for paving the parallel road surface. |
Currently, some sections of the Ring Road 4 project passing through Ha Dong district have completed the embankment and roadbed reinforcement work, and have begun paving the road surface. |
A section of the project is still obstructed by high and medium voltage power lines that have not yet been relocated to clear the land. |
The Ring Road 4 is expected to help Ha Dong district enhance connectivity, create momentum and ripple effects across the region, and lead to breakthroughs in socio-economic development and ensure national security and defense of the district. |
This project is of particular importance and offers many practical benefits to Ha Dong district as well as the capital city, contributing to expanding socio-economic development space, reducing traffic congestion at the western gateway of Hanoi, creating favorable conditions for people's transportation and gradually shifting the economic structure of the area on both sides of the road. |
