Continue to organize the assessment and submit for approval the unit prices for reforestation.

The People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province has issued a document assigning the task of continuing to advise, review, and finalize the dossier, organize the appraisal, and submit for approval the unit price for reforestation in the province.

The issuance/approval of the unit price for reforestation by the Provincial People's Committee is an important and urgent matter, serving as the basis for project owners who change the purpose of forest land use to other purposes to determine the amount of money to be paid for reforestation; and for investors to organize the implementation of reforestation in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to study the appraisal opinions of the Department of Finance, the Department of Planning and Investment, and the Department of Justice to determine the procedures, processes, and forms for issuing documents by the Provincial People's Committee on the unit price for reforestation in the province. Based on this, organize a conference to gather full opinions from relevant departments, agencies, and units, and finalize the dossier on the unit price for reforestation in the province. Submit it to the Department of Finance before April 8, 2024, for appraisal and to advise the Provincial People's Committee on consideration and decision.

The Department of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with relevant units (if deemed necessary) to continue researching, appraising, and advising the Provincial People's Committee on the full implementation of the procedures for approving/issuing the unit prices for reforestation in Thanh Hoa province in accordance with current legal regulations; and report to the Provincial People's Committee before April 30, 2024.
