The body of a woman who went missing due to floods has been found.

(QBĐT) - On the afternoon of June 14th, information from the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue, also serving as the Civil Defense Steering Committee of Minh Hoa district, indicated that after two days of intensive searching, functional forces had found the body of one of the two missing women in Hamlet 3, Tan Hoa commune.

The victim's body was found nearly 1km from the location where he was swept away by the water.

Accordingly, at approximately 2 PM on the same day, the body was found nearly 1 km downstream from the location where it was swept away by floodwaters. The victim was identified as Ms. T.T.D. (born in 1963), the younger sister in the incident where two sisters went missing after being swept away by floodwaters.

Currently, authorities have handed over the body and assisted the family with burial according to local customs. They are also actively searching for the remaining missing victim.

As previously reported, on the evening of June 12th, three women from Hamlet 3, Tan Hoa Commune (Minh Hoa District) were swept away by the water while frog hunting. One woman managed to swim to shore, but the other two, who are sisters, went missing.
