The "home" of the tech "eagles".

The three main energy sources of Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh, and Phu Tho converge to form a region full of potential, a dynamic economic area with leading prospects in the North. Combined with Vinh Phuc's practical experience in investment promotion, Phu Tho province is opening up golden opportunities for investors, especially high-tech projects, to establish themselves and take off.

Located approximately 50-80km from the center of Hanoi, within the key economic zone of Northern Vietnam, businesses investing in Phu Tho province can easily access a large consumer market and a high-quality workforce from universities and research institutes in Hanoi. The province also boasts a modern and integrated transportation infrastructure connecting it to seaports and international airports.

A notable highlight is the central government's strategic vision in transforming the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway into an internal industrial and logistics hub for the newly established Phu Tho province, facilitating the provincial government's rapid development of a dynamic and promising business environment.

In addition, the provincial road system and secondary transportation routes have been upgraded, creating favorable conditions for the transportation of raw materials and goods, and helping to connect businesses with businesses, and urban areas with rural areas.

In the coming period, the IC2 and IC5 interchanges will continue to be invested in and expanded, improving the connectivity of the provincial transportation network; the upcoming Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong high-speed railway line will pass through the province,... These are solid foundations to affirm that Phu Tho province has sufficient attractiveness to leading global corporations and businesses.

The newly formed Phu Tho province, created by merging the three provinces of Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh, and Phu Tho, has a natural area of over 9,361 km² , a population of over 4 million people, and 148 commune-level administrative units under the province. Its administrative and political center is located in Viet Tri.

The The Nam Binh Xuyen Industrial Park is meticulously planned with high standards in technical infrastructure, a centralized wastewater treatment system, and synchronized social infrastructure, which will soon transform Phu Tho into a semiconductor industrial center of the country, attracting leading high-tech corporations and enterprises.

This province is considered one of the top localities in the country in terms of economic scale and budget revenue. Phu Tho province possesses many strengths, competitive advantages, and a harmonious balance of culture, people, and economic structure, with mutual support between industry and services. In particular, its burgeoning industrial sector, with high-tech centers already established and under development, is a key factor.

Industrial parks are at their peak, with a high proportion of technology-related businesses such as Khai Quang, Thang Long Vinh Phuc, Ba Thien II, Ba Thien I..., combined with well-planned industrial parks with high standards of technical infrastructure (electricity, water, broadband telecommunications), centralized wastewater treatment systems, and synchronized social infrastructure such as Hung Vuong High-Tech Park, Nam Binh Xuyen Industrial Park,... This will soon transform Phu Tho into a semiconductor industry center of the country, attracting leading high-tech corporations and businesses.

Furthermore, the VSIP Phu Tho Industrial Cluster, a successful collaboration between Phu Tho province and Sembcorp Group (Singapore), has all the necessary conditions to become a bright spot attracting FDI with international standards, providing a good foundation for expanding the attraction of high-tech projects in subsequent phases.

The new provincial government, led by a team of young and experienced leaders in attracting investment, will always ensure flexibility and adaptability, fully applying the highest incentives stipulated by investment laws, and especially preferential treatment for high-tech projects and high-tech zones (corporate income tax, land lease fee exemptions and reductions, training support, etc.).

Departments, agencies, and localities are focusing on strong administrative reforms, implementing one-stop and integrated one-stop mechanisms, and providing maximum support to businesses throughout the investment and operation process. The spirit of "leading the way, anticipating trends, and accompanying investors" is emphasized and maximized with the new, energetic administrative apparatus. To quickly transform itself into a promising destination for high-tech projects, the province needs to rapidly change its image from a traditional industrial province to an attractive destination for high-tech projects.

Firstly, focus on improving the quality of human resources. It is necessary to promptly review and evaluate existing training institutions, and prioritize strengthening links with major universities and colleges in Hanoi to collaborate on training and improve the quality of human resources locally, meeting the demands of high technology, especially in the fields of precision mechanics, electronics, automation, and information technology.

At the same time, it is crucial to quickly assert the unique differences and competitive advantages compared to neighboring provinces that developed CNC (Computer Numerical Control) earlier, proactively welcoming new investment waves.

Accelerating construction progress and ensuring the quality of infrastructure in industrial parks and clusters meets standards is crucial. Encouraging the formation of research institutes, innovation centers, and technology-supporting businesses will create a complete and attractive high-tech ecosystem.

With its strategic geoeconomic position, strong political determination demonstrated through focused development of specialized infrastructure, competitive incentive policies, and vigorous administrative reform efforts, Phu Tho province will certainly gradually become a new bright spot in attracting high-tech investment.

Although challenges remain to be overcome, with systematic and proactive steps, Phu Tho province is ready to support large corporations in technology to build their nests, develop production and business, and create high added value.
