Summary of mass mobilization work in 2024

In 2024, mass mobilization work continued to show positive progress, achieving fairly comprehensive results. The spirit of national unity was awakened and promoted, contributing to motivating all strata of the people to overcome difficulties, successfully implement socio-economic development tasks, and maintain political stability. Party committees and authorities at all levels proactively implemented tasks related to mass mobilization, ethnic affairs, religious affairs, and grassroots democracy. The content and methods of the Party's leadership over mass mobilization work, especially the mass mobilization work of state agencies, have been reformed and achieved many positive results; coordination between the government and the Mass Mobilization Department, the Fatherland Front, and other organizations has become increasingly close and effective. Ethnic and religious affairs have always received greater attention from Party committees and authorities at all levels.

The working methods of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations continue to innovate, focusing strongly on the grassroots; promoting patriotic emulation movements and campaigns that have spread strongly to all aspects of social life; strengthening social supervision and criticism, fulfilling the role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members. The mass mobilization system continues to effectively demonstrate its advisory role, proactively grasping the situation and advising Party committees on dialogue with the people, achieving many results, effectively implementing the grassroots people regulations and promoting the people's right to self-governance; the "skillful mass mobilization" emulation movement has been widely and effectively implemented in all fields, linked to building new rural areas, sustainable poverty reduction and building civilized urban areas,... contributing to stabilizing the people's situation, maintaining national defense and security and social order, creating conditions for the socio-economic development of the province.

In implementing the tasks of mass mobilization work in 2025, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department requested that the mass mobilization system in the province continue to innovate and improve the quality of advice provided to Party committees in effectively implementing resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Party on mass mobilization work. He also urged the strengthening of "skillful mass mobilization" within the political system, promptly replicating successful models and exemplary cases of "skillful mass mobilization" that are highly appreciated by the people and have a positive impact on the community, linked to the work of building the Party, the State, and the political system.

Mobilize investment resources for development, improve the quality of new rural areas and civilized urban areas, achieve sustainable poverty reduction, develop ethnic minority and mountainous regions, and improve the lives of all segments of the population. Continue to enhance the effectiveness of mass mobilization work by state agencies and governments at all levels; promote administrative procedure reform, democracy, openness, and transparency in management and operation; improve public service ethics, sense of responsibility, and the spirit of serving the people among cadres, civil servants, and public employees. Innovate the content, methods, and improve the quality of activities of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations at all levels in a way that is close to the people, grassroots-oriented, and concerned with the legitimate rights and interests of the people; focus on propaganda and mobilization work to create consensus among the people; build and promote the core role of key personnel; participate in social supervision and criticism, contribute to building the Party and government, especially contributing to the drafting of Party congress documents at all levels. Effectively launch and organize patriotic emulation movements to celebrate the Party congresses at all levels and major holidays throughout the year; encourage and motivate all strata of the people to resolutely achieve the tasks of 2025. Continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness of monitoring the people's situation and promptly grasp legitimate proposals and recommendations from the people to study and advise Party committees and authorities on leadership and direction for resolution. Strengthen inspection, supervision, and urging the implementation of Party resolutions and directives on mass mobilization work at all levels and sectors. Continue to consolidate and strengthen the organizational structure, and enhance professional training for cadres working in mass mobilization. Organize well the activities commemorating the 95th anniversary of the Party's tradition of mass mobilization work (October 15, 1930 - October 15, 2025).

At the conference, Comrade Chamaléa Thị Thủy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, presented the "For the Cause of Mass Mobilization" commemorative medal, awarded by the Central Mass Mobilization Department, to comrades Huỳnh Hữu Phúc, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; and Nguyễn Văn Sơn, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society, for their significant contributions to mass mobilization work.
