Accordingly, Da Nang IOC has officially come into operation according to a comprehensive model from city to district level, including city IOC, 7 district operation centers (OC) and 2 specialized OCs (traffic, security and order) according to the urban government model to meet the overall architecture of Da Nang's smart city and the ICT reference framework for smart urban development of the Ministry of Information and Communications .

The city's IOC smart operations center is identified as the highest-level monitoring and operating agency of the city, the focal point for collecting information and data from district OCs, specialized OCs and application systems, IoT sensors.

District and specialized OCs will operate according to the geographical area of ​​the district or according to the specialized field. Conversely, these OCs are also decentralized to receive information and data analyzed and shared by the city IOC to serve management work; public and transparent for people and businesses.

To design and deploy the IOC-OC model suitable to local characteristics, Viettel Solutions and Da Nang City analyzed, posed problems, and jointly researched and built solutions covering 15 areas in 3 groups of solutions to serve citizens, government operations, and environmental and urban management activities.

IOC Da Nang is considered a comprehensive system, with smart warnings, a complete warning handling process from the city management agency to each locality and processing unit. The system has integrated   Integrating IoT technologies for real-time monitoring such as monitoring, wastewater and data analysis tools to initially forecast and predict with a modern, user-friendly interface.

The advantage of the IOC-OC model is that it helps to monitor and operate comprehensively and synchronously in two directions from the city level to districts, wards and communes . Putting the IOC center into operation will help leaders at all levels to be able to monitor, operate, make decisions and manage the quality of services provided by the city in a comprehensive manner, bringing about efficiency and opportunities for development of industries, fields and socio-economy.
