At noon on June 12, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training announced guidelines for marking 6 compulsory subjects of the public 3th grade entrance exam for the school year 10-2023, namely Literature, Mathematics and Foreign Languages.
Previously, the Math test received many comments about the lack of knowledge of Physics in the question of practical application (sentence 5).
However, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training Nguyen Bao Quoc affirmed that with the knowledge and mathematical ability learned in the program, candidates can solve the requirements of the test.
On the other hand, according to the regulations and guidelines for marking the exam, cases where candidates have solutions different from the marking instructions but are reasonable are considered and evaluated.

In the school year 2022-2023, the city has 113.802 9th graders considering graduating from secondary school, of which 96.325 students participated in the public 10th grade entrance exam. In which, there are 88.237 candidates registered for the 10th class ordinary aspirations, 1.147 candidates registered for the integrated aspiration and 6.941 candidates registered for the specialized aspiration.
The exam took place in two days 6-6 and 7-6 at 158 test sites. Ho Chi Minh City has mobilized 12.306 exam teachers, 2.370 service staff at the test sites.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training is expected to announce the exam results on June 20. Candidates apply for re-examination from June 6 to 21.
On June 24, this department announced the admission criteria for 6th grade specialized, integrated and direct admission results.
On July 10, the standard 7th grade admission criteria and the list of successful candidates for admission to public high schools for the academic year 10-2023 will be announced simultaneously.
