Ho Chi Minh City put into monitoring and directing for 1 case, 3 cases

On June 6, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Anti-Corruption and Negativity Steering Committee (the Steering Committee) held a regular meeting in May. Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee, chaired.

Also attending were comrades: Tran Hoang Kiem, Acting Director of Local 3 Department, Central Department of Internal Affairs; Le Thanh Liem, Member of Standing Committee of City Party Committee, Head of Internal Affairs Department of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Deputy Head of Standing Committee of Steering Committee; Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organization Department of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee; Standing comrades of the Steering Committee, members of the Steering Committee and the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee.

After listening to the report presented by the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee (the Standing Body of the Steering Committee) and the opinions of the members attending the meeting, the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee assessed the results achieved since the 3rd meeting (April 13) of the Steering Committee and concluded to direct a number of important contents.

Comrade Nguyen Van Nen assigned the members of the Steering Committee, the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee to urgently continue to organize the implementation and strictly implement the conclusion of the General Secretary and Head of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity at the Standing meeting of the Steering Committee on May 10.

At the same time, focus on directing and speeding up the progress and results of investigation and handling of cases and cases subject to the monitoring and directing by the Steering Committee; summarizing the results of 1 year of operation of the Steering Committee since its establishment until now at the request of the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption and anti-corruption.

The Standing Committee of the Steering Committee also agreed to put in the supervision and direction for 1 case and 3 cases. The Standing Committee of the Steering Committee also assigned the Standing Agency to urgently complete the project "Some solutions to prevent acts of corruption, negativity and wastefulness in the political system and state-owned enterprises".

At the same time, continue to review and advise on the effective implementation of directions and tasks in the coming time of the Steering Committee, the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, ensuring the requirements and progress set out.
