At its 21st session held on the afternoon of February 20th, the 10th term of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council approved a Resolution on special policies to support tuition fees for preschool children under 5 years old, public and private high school students, and high school continuing education students in the city from the 2025-2026 school year.

Accordingly, this policy applies to preschool children under 5 years old, high school students, and high school continuing education students studying at public and private educational institutions in Ho Chi Minh City, excluding students of schools with foreign investment. In addition, Ho Chi Minh City is implementing a tuition fee support policy for junior high school students. In Ho Chi Minh City, only preschool children under 5 years old and high school students are required to pay tuition fees according to regulations.

Thus, with the adoption of this tuition fee support policy for preschool children under 5 years old and high school students, from the 2025-2026 school year, all students from preschool to high school in Ho Chi Minh City will be exempt from tuition fees.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, this policy is a continuation of the tuition fee support policies that the city has implemented in previous school years, receiving support and consensus from society.

This is a meaningful and practical gift for all students in the city, creating a memorable occasion to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country.
