Comrade Nguyen Van Nen welcomed Comrade Kim Song Nam and the delegation visiting Vietnam in the context that the two sides are aiming to celebrate the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations in 2025. On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City, comrade Nguyen Van Nen congratulated North Korea's socio-economic development achievements under the leadership of comrade Kim Jong Un after the 8th Congress. Discussing at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Nen introduced the socio-economic development situation of Ho Chi Minh City; He believes that the two sides still have much room for cooperation and hope to promote relations with North Korean localities in the near future.
