Through reviewing the order of priority and urgency, the People's Committee of Kien Giang province proposed to allocate state budget capital to invest in two projects that are very urgent for the development of Phu Quoc City.
Phu Quoc coastal road project has a total investment of about 7.000 billion VND, average road surface size from 9m-30m, total length of 26,6km. According to the Provincial People's Committee, this route goes along the coast of Phu Quoc, meeting traffic and sightseeing requirements, serving national defense - security and responding to climate change. Belt road project along special-use forests and protective forests on Phu Quoc island with a total length of about 184km, total investment of about 920 billion VND.
