Amidst the rapid digital transformation, youth union branches in Da Nang are gradually innovating their methods of operation, shifting from in-person to online activities to keep pace with the lifestyles of young people.

Beyond simply adapting, the Youth Union actively plays a leading role, becoming a "charging station" for digital skills for young people, helping its members and youth improve their technological capabilities, foster creativity, and contribute to building a smart and modern city.

Recently, the application of AI has been widely implemented by youth union branches in many activities.

In Hoa Tien commune, the "Monthly News Bulletin" model, featuring the virtual MC "Nhat Huyen," has created a new milestone in propaganda work. The MC, created using AI and dressed in the familiar uniform of the Communist Youth Union, takes on the role of leading the monthly summary news bulletins. The videos are designed to be concise and lively, combining sound, images, and eye-catching effects, making it easy for viewers to access the information.

Youth Union member Nguyen Huu Mai shared: “Previously, propaganda information was often scattered and difficult to follow. With the application of AI, we can synthesize content into a unified, easier-to-understand video. Creating the product is also faster, requires fewer steps, but is more effective and attracts more viewers.”

According to Nguyen Dinh Thinh, Secretary of the Hoa Tien Commune Youth Union, the application of AI has contributed to improving the effectiveness of propaganda, making the Youth Union's messages more visual and attractive. At the same time, the Commune Youth Union regularly organizes training sessions and guides its members on using AI, thereby spreading digital skills within the youth community.

According to the Da Nang Youth Union, in October 2025, the unit collaborated with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF Vietnam) to organize a training course on "Safe and Civilized Use of the Internet and Social Media for Youth Union Officials and Members" for officials, members, and young people in the city. This helped young people identify the dangers of fake news, cyberbullying, and privacy violations, enabling them to master the digital space, "live safely" on social media, and contribute to spreading positive values.

To concretize major policies on science , technology development and digital transformation, the City Youth Union is implementing the "You and I Equip Ourselves with AI" model. This is a highly community-oriented program, aiming for each Youth Union member to be both a learner and a knowledge sharer about artificial intelligence.

Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Phuong, Deputy Head of the Youth Union and Children's Affairs Department of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the city, said that the model is implemented in three stages, from introducing tools and organizing training to evaluating results.

Youth union branches have actively responded, organizing numerous training and practical guidance activities, which have initially yielded clear results. Many creative media products have been produced, contributing to bringing official information closer to the people.

Secretary of the City Youth Union, Le Cong Hung, emphasized that in the context of digital transformation, innovating the methods of youth union activities is an essential requirement. The City Youth Union is promoting the application of online platforms, digitizing data, organizing activities and training in cyberspace, while also focusing on equipping young people with digital skills.

In the coming period, training programs and technology playgrounds will continue to be widely implemented, helping union members improve their capabilities and expand opportunities for innovative entrepreneurship.

Through practical models, youth organizations affirm their role as a "charging station" for digital skills, providing energy for young people to confidently enter the digital age and contribute positively to the sustainable development of the city.
