To commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Elderly People (June 6, 1941 - June 6, 2026), on the morning of June 6, Comrade Nguyen Ho Hai, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ca Mau province, visited and presented gifts to former leaders and veteran revolutionary cadres in the province.

The delegation visited Comrade Mai Thanh An, born in 1938, a Party member of the Hamlet 1 Branch, An Xuyen Ward Party Committee. He officially joined the Party in 1961. Comrade Mai Thanh An (nicknamed Bay Khe), former Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association , former Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, is an exemplary Party member who has made many contributions to the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland.
