Memories of a passionate youth, stories of revolutionary ideals, the spirit of overcoming difficulties to serve the Fatherland, camaraderie and fellowship in war and peacetime... were shared with the audience by veterans and former youth volunteers in a deeply moving way. Continuing their family traditions and growing up in peacetime, their descendants continue to tell the story of patriotism and national pride through aspirations and efforts to excel in education and contribute to building a prosperous nation.

The exhibition "Memories and Beliefs," organized by the Vietnam Women's Museum, is based on valuable documents and artifacts collected over the past nearly 20 years. This is the result of trips across the country to meet and listen to the stories of historical witnesses and relatives of fallen heroes who perished on the battlefields of the past. The exhibition comprises three themes: "Ready to Go"; "Belief in Victory"; and "The Day of Return."

Through nearly 200 images and original artifacts, including representative mementos such as: a volunteer enlistment application written in blood; a diary of a female soldier from the Truong Son Mountains about her journey to the battlefield and her years of service; a letter from a fallen soldier to his wife filled with longing and hope for reunion; or the harmonica that a soldier used to play the song "For the People, We Forget Ourselves" next to a time bomb to boost the morale of his comrades… viewers will be able to answer the question of why the small country of Vietnam was able to fight and win against enemies with such economic and military power.

Within the framework of the exhibition, the public can also participate in the "Letters to Loved Ones" experience, where people can write meaningful letters, conveying sincere feelings to their loved ones through letters with a distinct "wartime" style.
