The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced that from June 26 to 28, in Hanoi , the Vietnam Film Department, in collaboration with the Belarusian National Film Studio (Belarusfilm) and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus, will organize the "Belarus Film Days in Vietnam 2026" program.
The event introduced Vietnamese audiences to six representative films of Belarusian cinema, reflecting diverse themes ranging from history, education , and sports to nature and folklore.

The program opened with the film "One for Two, 2026." The film was made in memory of two Belarusian pilots, Andrei Nichiporchik and Nikita Kukonenko, who died in a training accident in 2021 while maneuvering their aircraft away from residential areas to protect people's lives.

Fans of adventure and fantasy genres will have the opportunity to enjoy "The Song of Sirin" (2024). The film takes viewers into the world of Slavic mythology with journeys through the realms of Nav, Prav, and Yav, while also recreating the imagery of famous prophetic birds from legend.

In the documentary category, "Berezinsky Biosphere" (2023) showcases the natural beauty of Belarus's oldest biosphere reserve. The work depicts a rich ecosystem with typical European wildlife such as bears, wolves, lynx, moose, and bison.

The themes of education and youth are explored in the film "The Class Teacher" (2025). The film tells the story of a young female teacher facing numerous challenges when assigned to be the homeroom teacher for a graduating class in a rural area, reflecting the difficulties and significance of the teaching profession.

Meanwhile, “Turning Point” (2025) explores the journey of a young rower overcoming adversity after failure and injury, conveying a message about willpower, friendship, and the aspiration to succeed.

Rounding out the list is "The Black Castle" (2024), adapted from the famous novel "Olshany's Black Castle" by Vladimir Korotkevich. The work combines historical, mystery, and fantasy elements through the journey of a young professor as he uncovers secrets from the Middle Ages.
The opening ceremony of "Belarusian Film Days in Vietnam 2026" took place at 7 PM on June 26th at the National Film Center. The opening film was "Under the Same Sky," marking the beginning of a series of cinematic exchange activities between Vietnam and Belarus.
