Previously, the Tu family announced that they wanted to place the late actress's ashes in their home so that she would not feel lonely. According to MC Tu Hy De, this was the wish of the actress and her family during her lifetime.

However, Barbie Hsu's family faced a wave of harsh reactions from neighbors when they brought the late star's ashes to their private home in a luxury apartment building in Taiwan (China) without holding a funeral ceremony.
