The controversial moment between Dan Burn and Shaw.

Highlights Newcastle 2-1 MU: In the early hours of March 5th, Newcastle, despite playing with ten men, showed their mettle to defeat Manchester United in the 29th round of the Premier League.

In the 18th minute, the match heated up after an aerial challenge between Dan Burn of Newcastle and Luke Shaw of Manchester United. The home team's center-back appeared to elbow the opposing defender in the face as both players jumped high.

Despite the slow-motion replays clearly showing Burn's contact, the VAR system did not intervene, and the referee did not issue a red card to the Newcastle player.

This decision immediately caused a storm on social media. Many fans argued that if Casemiro had been the one making the tackle, the reaction might have been completely different. Some even sarcastically commented that Burn seemed to be given preferential treatment in this sensitive situation.

"If Casemiro had done what Dan Burn did, it would definitely have been a red card," one commenter wrote. Another fan added: "This ugly behavior deserves punishment."

Despite escaping a red card, Newcastle found themselves at a disadvantage before halftime. Jacob Ramsey received a second yellow card for simulation in the Manchester United penalty area and was forced to leave the field early. However, the home team still won 2-1 thanks to a goal from William Osula in the 90th minute.

This also marks the fourth consecutive time Manchester United have suffered a defeat against Newcastle on the road. This result doesn't knock Michael Carrick's team out of the top three, but Aston Villa have caught up in points, both teams now having 51 points.

Highlights MU 2-1 Crystal Palace : On the night of March 1st, MU staged an excellent comeback to win 2-1 against Crystal Palace in the 28th round of the Premier League.
