On the morning of May 25th, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law held a graduation ceremony and awarded Bachelor of Law degrees to 263 students from the part-time study program.
The graduates this time belong to the following classes: Course 15 of the Ho Chi Minh City Police (111 students), Course 26 at the Nguyen Tat Thanh facility (61 students), Course 3 in Binh Chanh District (33 students), Course 4 in District 6 (35 students), and Course 8 in Binh Duong Province (58 students).
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Van Nhiem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, expressed his hope that the graduates would uphold the qualities and ethics of the legal profession, be fair and objective in their work, and develop the knowledge they have accumulated in the new era; at the same time, he emphasized the role and responsibility of the university in training high-quality human resources for the legal profession.
"In addition to formal training, the school has proactively implemented and successfully carried out part-time training programs, as well as short-term refresher courses to improve skills, update knowledge, and meet the diverse and flexible learning needs of students, making a significant contribution to providing legal human resources for localities in the Central, Southern, and Central Highlands provinces," Associate Professor Dr. Nhiem informed.
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law is offering full-time undergraduate programs in five fields: law, legal administration, international commercial law, business administration, and English language (specializing in legal English), as well as part-time law programs.
Associate Professor Vu Van Nhiem shared the role and mission of law students with the graduates.
Associate Professor Vu Van Nhiem stated that, in addition to the traditional law program, the university will continue to expand its training programs to include part-time study, second degree programs, and distance learning in other fields in the future.
On this occasion, the school also awarded prizes to 6 students who achieved high results in their studies and 13 students who made significant contributions to the organization and management of the class.
