A NEW DAY IN THE SPRATLY ISLANDS
The Truong Sa archipelago is a border island region of the Fatherland, facing many difficulties and hardships amidst the turbulent waves of the East Sea. Thanks to the attention of the Party and the State, the archipelago has been and is being invested in infrastructure development and scientific and technical research facilities to serve sustainable economic development. Medical centers, fuel and equipment supply for fishing, rescue and relief operations, and healthcare for the military, civilians, and fishermen in the archipelago have been established, creating favorable conditions for Vietnam's fishing grounds and enabling timely response to natural disasters in the waters under our management for domestic and international maritime activities.

The " Happy Vietnam 2026 " award is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Vietnam Television.
The 2026 awards will continue to be held nationwide with two categories: photos and videos .
The submitted works will be judged in two rounds, preliminary and final, by a judging panel comprising reputable experts, journalists, photographers, and filmmakers, ensuring objectivity, transparency, and professional quality.
