- Throughout the province's development, the press has always played a crucial role as a bridge connecting the Party's ideology with the people's aspirations. From the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations, to grassroots issues affecting people's lives, all have been vividly conveyed through journalistic works rich in the breath of life.
Beyond being an effective channel for disseminating the Party and State's policies and guidelines, the press also serves as a reliable forum for the people to express their thoughts and aspirations, and to reflect on issues arising from real-life situations. Through this, it contributes to strengthening the close relationship between the Party, the government, and the people, consolidating trust, and fostering social consensus.
Bringing the Party's ideology to the people.
Over the years, along with the province's development, journalistic activities in the area have continuously innovated, improving the quality of content and methods of propaganda. While previously the dissemination of policies and resolutions was mainly through written documents and conferences, now media outlets convey them through various forms. Through this, the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations are conveyed in familiar, easily understandable language, connected to real-life situations, helping people to easily access, understand, and agree with them during implementation.

From resolutions on socio-economic development, new rural construction, sustainable poverty reduction, and digital transformation to policies on administrative unit restructuring, streamlining the apparatus, developing border gate economies, and preserving and promoting national cultural identity, the province's press agencies have extensively disseminated information. Beyond simply conveying policies and resolutions, reporters proactively stay close to the grassroots, reflecting on successful models, effective methods, and practical changes to vividly illustrate the effectiveness of these policies when implemented. This has helped make theoretical content more accessible, understandable, and persuasive to the people.
In the first six months of 2026, Lang Son Newspaper, Radio, and Television produced over 30,300 news articles, photos, and reports across all four media formats; of which over 17,900 were self-produced, an increase of more than 14,200 journalistic products compared to the same period in 2025. The unit also produced 50 reports to serve the propaganda work of departments and agencies. These figures demonstrate the continuous efforts of the journalistic team in bringing the Party's guidelines and the State's policies to social life.
Journalist Vu Cong Quan, a reporter from the Special Topics Department of Lang Son Newspaper, Radio, and Television, shared: "The mission of a journalist is not only to transmit information but also to contribute to bringing the Party's policies and resolutions deep into social life. As a print journalist, I am always concerned about how to convey the content of resolutions and policies through the language of life, through specific stories, ordinary people, and changes from reality. Therefore, in the process of creating works, I always spend a lot of time closely following the grassroots, listening to the thoughts, aspirations, and feedback of the people, focusing on discovering and spreading effective models, creative methods, and exemplary advanced examples." When the Party's policies are demonstrated by concrete and vivid results from practice, information becomes more accessible and easier to understand, thereby contributing to strengthening trust, creating consensus in society, and enhancing the role of the press as a bridge between the Party's will and the people's aspirations.
Sharing the same viewpoint, journalist Hoang Thanh Huyen, Deputy Head of the News Department of Lang Son Province's Newspaper, Radio, and Television, shared: In the current context, radio broadcasting still plays an important role, especially in remote areas and ethnic minority regions, where many people still maintain the habit of listening to the radio and consider it a reliable and official source of information. Based on this reality, the radio broadcasting team always strives to innovate content and methods of presentation, increasing the production of works that reflect real life and closely follow local realities. Through emotionally rich audio language, stories of life, good models, and effective practices are vividly conveyed to listeners, not only providing information but also creating a ripple effect, inspiring consensus and trust in society. Through this, the press continues to affirm its role as a solid bridge between the Party, the government, and the people, contributing to bringing the Party's resolutions and policies into life in a practical and effective way.
From newspaper pages, television and radio programs, to multimedia journalistic products in the digital environment, Lang Son's press is contributing day by day to bringing the Party's ideology closer to life. Each work is not only an informational product but also a bridge helping cadres, Party members, and the people understand correctly and deeply the Party's major policies and orientations, thereby creating unity in awareness and action, contributing to bringing resolutions into life.
Conveying the voice of the people to the Party.
Closely reflecting real-life situations, the press in the province consistently portrays issues affecting people's lives and their legitimate aspirations. From concerns and desires related to rural transportation infrastructure, water supply projects, the environment, and social welfare policies to the difficulties faced by ethnic minorities in mountainous areas in production, all are promptly recorded and reflected by reporters across various media platforms.
Mr. Phuong Tuan Hung, from Ban Lu village, Kien Moc commune, shared: "These suggestions and aspirations have been reflected by the people through many information channels, including the press. We are pleased that the legitimate wishes of the people have been reported by the press and are being addressed by the Party committee and the government."

Many cases, after being reported by the press, have received attention from relevant authorities, contributing to resolving difficulties and ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people. More importantly, people feel that their voices are heard, and that suggestions from the grassroots are received and considered seriously.
To effectively fulfill this bridging role, the team of reporters always strives to stay close to the people, be near them, and listen to their opinions. For each journalist, each trip to the grassroots is not only about finding topics but also about listening to the thoughts and aspirations of the people. Many suggestions, after being reflected in the press, have been addressed by relevant authorities at all levels. This also motivates journalists to continue to stay connected with the grassroots and truthfully reflect the pulse of life.
Besides reflecting on people's livelihoods, the press actively discovers, publicizes, and disseminates new factors and exemplary models in social life. From stories of donating land to build roads for new rural development, to effective economic development models and innovative initiatives and best practices at the grassroots level, the press promptly reflects these stories, contributing to encouraging patriotic emulation movements, spreading positive values, and creating momentum for local development.
Mr. Luong Van Cuong, Party Secretary and Head of Nam Lan 2 village, Van Linh commune, said: "Newspaper articles and reports about the land donation movement for road construction in various localities have helped people better understand the meaning and benefits of joining hands to build new rural areas. This is also a practical source of information and vivid examples for us to propagate and mobilize the people to agree to implement the road connecting Chi Lang town with the former Y Tich commune. Thanks to this, people in the village have donated more than 4,200 m² of land, contributing to expanding the road, facilitating travel, transporting goods, and selling agricultural products, especially during the custard apple harvest season."
In the context of rapidly developing digital technology and increasingly diverse information on the internet, the guiding role of the press has become even more important. Beyond providing accurate and timely information, the press also contributes to combating misinformation, protecting the Party's ideological foundation, and strengthening the people's trust in Party committees and government at all levels. The vitality of revolutionary journalism lies not only in its speed and ability to disseminate information but also in its close connection with life and the people. Every valuable journalistic work originates from reality, from simple stories at the grassroots level, and from the responsibility of journalists to the Party, the State, and the people.
The 101st anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2026) is an opportunity to look back on the glorious journey of the country's revolutionary press, while affirming the role and responsibility of journalists in the new era. Continuing this glorious tradition, journalists in Lang Son province are constantly innovating their thinking, enhancing their political acumen, professional skills, and ethical conduct; continuing to closely follow reality, accompanying the province's development and the people's lives, and maintaining their role as a reliable bridge between the Party and the people, between the Party's will and the people's aspirations.
