From joy to aspirations for investment, connection, and greater contribution to the homeland, the Spring Homeland program continues to affirm its role as a strong bridge connecting the Vietnamese community abroad with the Fatherland.

I am deeply moved, overjoyed, and delighted to have been invited by the Vietnamese Party and State to participate in the Spring Homeland 2026 program, to experience many beautiful aspects of Vietnamese culture, including the custom of releasing carp. Although I am a Cham from An Giang and follow Islam, I had never experienced the custom of sending the Kitchen God to heaven since I was a child living in Vietnam. For me, it was truly a completely new experience.

During this trip to Vietnam as an overseas Vietnamese, what impressed me most was the warm welcome I received from the Party, the State, and Ninh Binh province. I love the beauty of Trang An and Ninh Binh. After 26 years living in Malaysia with a busy job, I never thought I would have the chance to visit and enjoy Ninh Binh.

Returning to our homeland and witnessing the changes in our country fills us with immense pride. Seeing our nation rise strongly and stand alongside the world's leading powers evokes a special feeling in each of us. We hope that the Vietnamese Party and State will continue to connect with and create more opportunities for overseas Vietnamese to return to their homeland, experience new things, and strengthen their bonds with their compatriots.

Many significant events took place over the four days of the 2026 Homeland Spring Festival. What impressed me most was the warmth and hospitality shown by the Vietnamese authorities and agencies towards overseas Vietnamese, as well as the camaraderie and warmth of all the overseas Vietnamese from around the world who came to participate in the program and express their desire to contribute more to the country.

Returning to our homeland, we overseas Vietnamese are very surprised by Vietnam's rapid progress and development. We can see many new streets, buildings, and modern schools. We are also confident that rapid development, focused investment in science and technology, and the preservation of our nation's traditional values are the foundation for Vietnam to enter a new era of sustainable and long-term growth.

Living abroad but always looking towards their homeland, overseas Vietnamese also hope that the Government and relevant authorities in Vietnam will continue to create conditions so that they can access more information about programs and projects from afar and register to participate. Many young overseas Vietnamese wish to learn about these projects and have the opportunity to return to their homeland to contribute more to the country.

One of the most significant values of the "Spring in the Homeland" program is that it not only provides opportunities for overseas Vietnamese to visit their homeland, but also gives all overseas Vietnamese from around the world a chance to meet, exchange ideas, and connect. We promise that this is just the beginning. We will promote further activities so that Vietnamese communities worldwide can connect strongly, exchange information, and create programs and events to contribute more to our homeland, Vietnam.

Attending this year's Spring Homeland program, I had the opportunity to listen to many speeches from Party and State leaders who were very open with foreign investors. As someone who has invested in Vietnam for many years, I feel truly encouraged and motivated to expand my investments not just in one province, but in many other provinces and cities; not only in agriculture, but also in other industries and professions. When I was in Australia and decided to invest in Vietnam, I had many concerns about the legal aspects. Now, many regulations are clearer, more favorable, and easier to implement. Many organizations are ready to support overseas Vietnamese and businesses. We are ready to encourage more colleagues abroad to invest in Vietnam.

This is the second time I've attended the Spring Homeland program. Last time I was a little apprehensive, but this time I'm completely different, ready with the highest spirit to experience the atmosphere and seize new opportunities. Although the weather is colder this year, the spirit of solidarity makes me feel warm and happy. Among the speeches and sharing from the leaders of the Vietnamese Party and State, I liked the quote the most: "We don't call them overseas Vietnamese, but rather brothers and sisters." We returned and felt a sense of closeness.

My first visit to Vietnam was 10 years ago. Every year I return, I see the country developing and changing rapidly, from the provinces and cities to every street. This year, the overseas Vietnamese delegation was welcomed very warmly and hospitably.
