To further deepen the understanding of reading culture, speaker and Master's degree holder Nguyen Quoc Vuong gave a thematic talk titled "Self-Learning - The Key to Personal Development".

The speaker, Master Nguyen Quoc Vuong, born in 1982, works in the field of education ; he is an active scholar who translates, writes books and articles on cultural and educational topics, and strives to inspire young people to read.

Through the stories shared by speaker and Master Nguyen Quoc Vuong, many students realized the importance of reading, especially through self-study, to improve themselves.

Only through self-study can you discover what you need to learn, what you enjoy, and what your weaknesses are. From there, you can find a learning method, explore yourself, and discover your purpose and motivation for learning.

Self-learning is a regular practice, even after starting work, and sometimes it's only when you've truly begun learning.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of Bac Giang Provincial Library Nguyen Dac Hong affirmed: Books are an invaluable treasure of knowledge, a spiritual and cultural product of great significance. "Books are both a friend and a teacher," teaching us how to live, how to be a good person, and guiding us towards noble human values.

Books have always been a companion, sharing joys and sorrows, and have long been an essential and indispensable need in life. Reading helps people understand the world more deeply, is a healthy form of entertainment, and a powerful source of inspiration for self-improvement.

For a reading culture to spread widely, practically, and sustainably in the community, the joint efforts of all sectors of society are essential, from families, schools, information and library agencies to organizations and associations.

On this occasion, the Bac Giang Provincial Library organized a reading space for books and newspapers and issued free library cards to readers. These activities contribute to affirming the value of books in social life, honoring readers, authors, publishers, collectors, preservers, and introducers of books, thereby spreading a reading culture in the community.
