A major milestone in the national liberation movement.
One hundred and fifty years ago, on June 5, 1911, at Nha Rong Port in Saigon - Gia Dinh (now Ho Chi Minh City), the patriotic young man Nguyen Tat Thanh, then just 21 years old, with a burning desire to win independence for the nation, decided to leave to find the right path to national salvation for the Vietnamese people. This historical journey became a major milestone in the cause of national liberation, opening the revolutionary path under the light of Marxism-Leninism, bringing independence and freedom to the Fatherland and happiness to the Vietnamese people.
During his travels, he went to many places around the world and seized every opportunity to learn and study revolutionary theories, immersing himself in the practical struggles of the working class and laborers in capitalist and colonial countries. From this, he acquired an incredibly rich knowledge and a very broad and comprehensive vision. He concluded that imperialism and colonialism were the root of all suffering for the working class and people in both the imperialist and colonial countries.
Early on, recognizing the inevitable historical trend and the nature of the new era ushered in by the October Revolution, he identified the correct path to national salvation and liberation, discovering the historical truth: "Only socialism and communism can liberate oppressed nations and working people around the world from the yoke of slavery."

After 30 years of activism abroad, in early 1941, Nguyen Ai Quoc returned to Vietnam to lead the revolutionary struggle. From here, a new chapter opened in his revolutionary life and also marked a new turning point for the Vietnamese national liberation struggle.
Under his leadership, the Communist Party of Vietnam has led our people to great revolutions such as: the August Revolution of 1945, seizing power for the people and establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam; the glorious Dien Bien Phu Victory, "renowned throughout the world and shaking the earth"; and the great victory of Spring 1975, unifying the country and ushering in a new era - an era of peace, independence, unity, and progress towards socialism.
Aspiration to build a prosperous and happy nation.
For 115 years, President Ho Chi Minh's journey to find a way to save the nation has remained an enduring symbol of patriotism, self-reliance, and the aspiration for national development. It is also a profound lesson in the spirit of innovation, daring to think, daring to act, daring to commit, and sacrificing for the benefit of the nation. These ideological and spiritual values continue to guide and inspire today's generations to overcome difficulties, fulfill their responsibilities, and contribute to the building and protection of the Fatherland.

In the current context, as our country enters a new stage of development – the era of national progress – Ho Chi Minh's ideology continues to be the guiding principle for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
The 14th National Congress of the Party set the following development goals: maintaining a peaceful and stable environment; achieving rapid and sustainable national development and firmly defending the Fatherland; comprehensively improving and enhancing the people's lives; achieving strategic autonomy, self-reliance, self-confidence, and strong progress in the new era of the nation; successfully achieving the goal of becoming a developing country with a modern industrial base and high middle income by 2030; and realizing the vision of becoming a developed country with high income by 2045 for a peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, civilized, happy Vietnam, steadily advancing towards socialism.
It is evident that the nation's aspiration for progress today is the culmination, at a new level, of the desire for independence and freedom, concretized by the goal of comprehensive and sustainable development. As General Secretary and President To Lam affirmed: “The new era, the era of progress for the Vietnamese nation, is an era of development, an era of wealth and prosperity under the leadership and rule of the Communist Party, successfully building a socialist Vietnam, a prosperous nation with a strong people, democracy, fairness, and civilization, standing shoulder to shoulder with the great powers of the world. All citizens will have a comfortable and happy life, supported in their development and enrichment; contributing increasingly to peace, stability, and development in the region and the world, to the happiness of humanity and global civilization.”
Lam Dong realizes the nation's aspiration for self-improvement.
In the journey to realize the nation's aspirations for progress, Lam Dong, the largest province in the country in terms of area, possesses a crucial geopolitical position and is fully equipped with potential and favorable conditions for development. The Resolution of the First Provincial Party Congress, for the 2025-2030 term, sets the goal of comprehensive development, with stability as the foundation, socio-economic development as the central task, and the happiness and well-being of the people as the ultimate objective; by 2030, Lam Dong will become a moderately developed province, one of the dynamic growth poles of the region in the era of national progress.

Based on that, Lam Dong province has clearly defined its strategic tasks: building a green and sustainable economy; promoting digital transformation, administrative reform, and improving governance efficiency; developing people and society comprehensively; strengthening national defense and security, maintaining political stability and a favorable development environment…
In particular, on May 30th, the province collaborated with the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy to organize a scientific conference titled "The Development Model of Lam Dong Province: Potential and Breakthroughs." The opinions and proposals from experts, scientists, managers, and investors at the conference offered many directions, helping Lam Dong to formulate its development strategy. As affirmed by Comrade Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation: "This is an opportunity for frank exchanges based on scientific and practical arguments, thereby finding breakthrough, feasible solutions to realize the development aspirations of Lam Dong province in the new phase."
For 115 years, President Ho Chi Minh's journey to find a way to save the country has remained an enduring symbol of patriotism, self-reliance, self-strength, and the aspiration for national development.
