Through its partnership with GreenNode, MSB aims to transform from a digital bank into an AI bank.

On the afternoon of June 17th, Vietnam Maritime Commercial Bank (MSB) and GreenNode Technology Company ( VNG ) signed a memorandum of understanding to expand strategic cooperation, deeply integrating AI into operations across the entire bank.

According to the agreement, MSB and GreenNode will deploy a hybrid AI cloud infrastructure (combining on-premises data centers and the cloud) and build an AI Enterprise platform. This platform will enable MSB to standardize the development, management, and scaling of hundreds of AI applications across its system, better serving over 8 million individual customers and more than 100,000 corporate customers nationwide.

Initial results from the deployment of AI infrastructure at MSB have shown concrete improvements: MSB's AI assistant, Agent Gamma, currently handles approximately 20,000 questions per month, supporting information for thousands of internal task requests, especially from MSB's sales staff, simultaneously; thereby reducing the workload for the HR team in repetitive tasks and allowing them to focus on other complex issues. The Information Processing Unit (ICP) is processing over 300,000 sets of documents at a speed of 600-1,800 images per second, saving more than 2,000 working days per year. The intelligent HR virtual assistant software system - GenAI HR Chatbot - has also been deployed to serve over 8,000 employees across the system, helping to ensure smooth and efficient internal operations.
