According to Marca , Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has absolutely no intention of letting Vinicius leave the Bernabeu. The head of the Spanish royal club is said to have clearly defined his plan: to keep Vinicius at all costs and to finalize a contract extension with the Brazilian star as soon as possible.
This source even suggests that Real Madrid are highly likely to announce a new contract with Vinicius in the near future. If that happens, it would be a significant turning point, as previous reports indicated that negotiations would only resume after the World Cup next year.
Previously, the negative reaction from the home crowd was believed to have made Vinicius hesitant about his future at Real Madrid. Some sources suggested that the winger had considered delaying his contract extension, given that he didn't feel he had the full support of the Bernabeu stands.
Nevertheless, Perez remains firm in his stance on protecting and retaining Vinicius, considering him a strategic element in the club's long-term plans. Real Madrid reportedly does not want to face any scenario that could lead to losing Vinicius for free or being forced to sell him in the future.
The remaining issue lies in how the two parties will find common ground financially. They need to reach a reasonable agreement on compensation in the new contract.
