Tuyen Quang: People highly agree on merging administrative units

Specifically: Collect voters' opinions from all communes, wards and towns on the merger of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces, named Tuyen Quang. Attending the meetings were leaders of districts, cities, and specialized department staff who inspected and directed villages and residential groups. Commune-level leaders participated in chairing and guiding the organization of meetings and collecting opinions, ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures under the guidance of the Provincial People's Committee.

Previously, the communes, wards and towns of the province had notified households, prepared documents, discussion content and voted at the meeting, all of which were implemented methodically and seriously. Therefore, the collection of public opinions took place smoothly, seriously and on schedule. People agreed and highly supported the arrangement plans, showing their trust in the leadership of the Party and State and expecting a new step of development after the merger.

People of Group 18, Phan Thiet Ward, Tuyen Quang City, Tuyen Quang Province implemented a plan to merge commune-level administrative units and merge Tuyen Quang Province with Ha Giang Province.

The time for collecting public opinions will be on April 20. After that, the Commune People's Committee will report the results to the District People's Committee no later than 8:00 p.m. on April 20.

The District People's Committee shall report to the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province no later than 10:00 a.m. on April 21.

Previously, on the afternoon of April 19, leaders of Tuyen Quang province inspected a number of locations planned to arrange work and accommodation for leaders, civil servants and public employees of Ha Giang province after the merger of the two provinces.

Through the actual inspection, Provincial Party Secretary Ha Thi Nga requested the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant departments and units to urgently review the facilities, deploy construction, repair, and supplement equipment and living utensils at selected locations to arrange accommodation for officials from Ha Giang province to work after the province's merger.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ha Thi Nga also requested the Provincial People's Committee to direct the working groups of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Steering Committee to coordinate with the Ha Giang Provincial Steering Committee to review, count, and grasp the number of cadres, civil servants, and public employees working at the provincial administrative center after the merger to proactively plan appropriate and thoughtful arrangements so that the staff can confidently perform their tasks at the new location.
