The control and automation system for Coal Sorting Plant 2 - Phase 2 includes sensor systems, frequency converters, completion of the control program system, automation of the settling system, and new investment in suspension density measuring equipment; upgrading the automation systems of screening and feeding machines, replacing some motors and gearboxes that have reached the end of their depreciation period. Simultaneously, the automation system of the power substation and distribution substations is being upgraded. The public address system serving production management is being improved to provide quick and timely information to each production area throughout the plant.

Previously, starting in February 2023, Phase 1 of the Control and Automation System Project for Coal Sorting Plant 2 was put into operation. Based on the evaluation of the effectiveness of Phase 1, Cua Ong Coal Sorting Company continued to implement Phase 2 of the Project.

The system will help Cua Ong Coal Mining Company improve the efficiency of its production and business operations.

This project is of significant importance in achieving the goals of mechanization, automation, computerization, and digitalization of the TKV Group, contributing to improving working conditions for employees, ensuring stability, and enhancing the production efficiency of Cua Ong Coal Sorting Company.

Also this afternoon, Cua Ong Coal Sorting Company held a conference to review the implementation of tasks in the first quarter and to plan for the second quarter of 2025. In the first quarter of 2025, the company led, directed, and strengthened the leadership role of Party committees at all levels to successfully complete tasks related to Party building; and strengthened leadership in carrying out production tasks from the very first days and months. In the first quarter, Cua Ong Coal Sorting Company sold over 3.8 million tons of coal, achieving 29.7% of the annual plan.

In the second quarter, Cua Ong Coal Mining Company determined to continue focusing on leading and directing the implementation of innovative solutions to improve the quality of Party building, the development of Party organizations and mass organizations within the Company. The company will continue to improve management efficiency, strengthen governance, save costs, and strive to achieve the target of selling 3.2 million tons of coal in the second quarter, with cumulative production targets for the first six months reaching approximately 55% of the annual plan.
