Following the direction of the People's Committee of Quang Yen Town on promoting propaganda, disseminating and guiding people to register for electronic identification codes and perform online public services, in the past few days, right after receiving the leaflets propagandizing online public services and VNeid application, communes and wards in the town have focused on distributing them to each household. The members of the community digital technology team and the officials of the village and neighborhood went from door to door, knocking from door to door to distribute flyers; and at the same time guide and support people to register to create accounts and how to use a number of online public services such as: Issuing and changing motorcycle driving licenses; authenticate documents; issue ordinary passports; birth application; death registration.
Mr. Tran Xuan Ngan, Secretary, Head of Cay Sam village, Tien An commune, Quang Yen town, said: "Digital transformation has been no longer strange to our people in Cay Sam village. In the village, 80 people in 200 households have installed VNeid, digital applications and national public services. Thanks to the guidance of the Community Digital Technology Team, some people have installed the application and know how to proficiently use operations on the digital environment. Thereby, reducing the time to go to administrative procedures, other transactions in daily life are also faster and more convenient.
Although facing many difficulties in the process of implementing digital transformation, with a methodical approach, Tien An commune is one of the localities that effectively implement digital transformation in Quang Yen town. Currently, the percentage of people in the commune who have been granted CCCD with chips is 6.521/7.532 people, reaching 86,6%; 90% of people in the commune have an electronic health book; over 60% of households already have online public service accounts and install digital applications; 60% of the adult population has an electronic payment account for payment of fees, charges, electricity, water, internet, shopping...
In Nam Hoa ward, in these days, neighborhood officials along with members of the community digital technology team have also accelerated the distribution of flyers, instructions on creating a national public service account, and applying VNeid to each household. Identifying digital transformation as one of the key tasks, contributing to the implementation of the work theme in 2023 to improve the efficiency and quality of people's lives, in 2023, Nam Hoa ward has diversified forms of propaganda, changing people's awareness and actions on digital transformation. Up to now, the ward has reached over 90% of the people who have been granted a citizen ID with a chip.
In addition, the locality has received digital conversion documents and instructions for electronic identification registration provided by the town and strives to distribute to 5% of households in the ward this May. At the same time, the ward directed the organization of shock forces and the community digital technology team to directly guide people in residential areas to install applications. At cultural houses, there are posters and posters to guide people to install and use digital transformation utilities.
To promote propaganda and encourage people to participate in using online public services, the People's Committee of Quang Yen Town has directed the Culture and Information Department to complete the printing of 40.000 leaflets to propagate public services online and install the VNeid application in 2023. This is one of the practical activities, contributing to changing people's awareness and actions, creating digital citizens; thereby ensuring the effectiveness of digital transformation in the town; at the same time, speeding up the implementation of the project on developing the application of population data, identification and electronic authentication for national digital transformation in the period of 2022 -2025.
