On May 18, Manchester United Women played their final match of the season at Wembley. However, they lost 0-3 to Chelsea in the FA Cup final. Many senior Manchester United officials were present at the match, but Ratcliffe was noticeably absent.

Last season, the British billionaire also did not attend the Women's FA Cup final, when Manchester United beat Tottenham 4-0. Since taking over Manchester United, businessman Ratcliffe has been criticized for being indifferent to the women's team.

Asked about Ratcliffe's absence, Manchester United Women's coach Marc Skinner said: "To be honest, I don't know why he wasn't there. But a lot of other important members of the club were there. General manager Omar Berrada was there, the Glazer family, technical director Jason Wilcox was there."

Asked if he expected an explanation for Ratcliffe's absence, Skinner said: "I'm not going to get an explanation. I'm here to work with the team, but I feel the club has supported us well."

Previously, billionaire Ratcliffe caused dissatisfaction with the Manchester United men's team, when the players were only given a small number of tickets for relatives to watch the Europa League final. Each player was only given two tickets, which made many "Red Devils" stars unhappy.

Many players believe they should be treated better for their contributions to the club, including helping United reach the Europa League final this year.

Previously, the "Red Devils" leadership required youth team coaches and logistics staff to buy their own tickets if they wanted to watch the match. Coach Ruben Amorim had to pay for tickets for 30 MU staff out of his own pocket.
