For three days, from June 3rd to 5th, the Hanoi Cultural and Library Center organized a training course on group singing and dancing for children in Hanoi in 2026. This activity aims to prepare for the Hanoi Children's Book Promotion and Introduction Contest; group singing and dancing; and children's songs in 2026, with the theme "Hanoi Children: Proud of Tradition - Steadfast Towards the Future".
Nearly 450 participants from 109 communes and wards across the city attended the training course, including officials and teachers in charge of children's affairs, as well as outstanding children with exceptional artistic talents who actively participate in cultural and artistic movements and Youth Union/Pioneer activities at their schools and localities.

During the training course, participants were guided by instructors on how to perform newly selected children's songs from the 2026 children's songwriting competition; they also learned and practiced group dances choreographed to typical songs for children in Hanoi. In addition to professional content, participants also had the opportunity to interact, exchange experiences, and participate in a closing performance at the end of the course.

In his concluding remarks at the training course, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Center for Culture and Library Tran Thanh Tu highly praised the efforts and sense of responsibility of the trainees who participated seriously and enthusiastically. Following this training, the trainees will be active participants in spreading and popularizing the songs and dances in their localities, creating a vibrant and enriching summer for the children of Hanoi and preparing them to participate in the 2026 Hanoi Children's Book Promotion and Introduction Competition; Group Singing and Dancing; and Children's Songs.
