On the afternoon of June 7, the police of Huong Thuy town (TT-Hue province) said that the unit was investigating the cause of the traffic accident that occurred at the toll station on the National Highway 6A passing through the area.
Initial information said, around 13:20 on the same day, Mr. Nguyen Phong Hai (SN 1972, resident of Phong Dien town, Phong Dien district, TT-Hue province) drove a truck carrying soil BKS 75C-135.26 circulating on National Highway 1A in the north-south direction.
When preparing to go to the location of the Phu Bai Toll Station (Km 844+150 of the National Highway 1A route passing through Thuy Phu commune, Huong Thuy town), the truck driven by Mr. Hai suddenly collided with the 7-seat car BKS 37A-761.54 driven by Mr. Nguyen Van B. (SN 1985, residing in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An) was stopping in front in the same direction waiting to pass the toll station.
Then, truck 75C-135.26 continued to rush to the left, swerved onto the curb, and crashed into the cabin of the automatic toll lane.
Fortunately, there were no injuries, but 2 vehicles and 1 automatic toll booth of Phu Bai Toll Station and the equipment inside were badly damaged.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the police.
