Campaign to build a traffic bridge.

(CT) - According to Ms. Do Thi Diem Kieu, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thoi Tan commune, Thoi Lai district, the People's Committee of the commune, in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, sponsors and the People's Committee of Dien Hoa hamlet, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Mai Nuoc bridge, connecting Dien Hoa hamlet (Thoi Tan commune, Thoi Lai district) with Dong Thanh hamlet (Dong Hiep commune, Co Do district).

According to local leaders, the old bridge was dilapidated, narrow, and difficult to cross. Given this situation, the People's Committee of the commune, in coordination with the People's Committee of Dien Hoa hamlet, organized a meeting with residents to gather opinions on building a new bridge. As a result, the people unanimously agreed to contribute money and labor to construct the bridge.

The newly constructed Mai Nuoc Bridge is 20 meters long and 3.5 meters wide. The total estimated cost of the project is over 220 million VND. Of this amount, Ms. Tran Anh Thy and her children (Vietnamese expatriates in the US) contributed 180 million VND, and local people contributed money and labor worth over 40 million VND.
