Tan Long Pumping Station Load Test Operation

On April 23, the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of the Agriculture and Rural Development sector of Tay Ninh province organized a test run of Tan Long pumping station.

Attending the acceptance ceremony were representatives of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, Tay Ninh Irrigation Exploitation Company Limited, leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Chau Thanh district and representatives of the leaders of Bien Gioi commune.

According to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of the Agriculture and Rural Development sector of Tay Ninh province , the acceptance work of Tan Long Pumping Station was carried out from 8:30 a.m., April 23 to 8:30 a.m., April 26, 2025.

Representatives of the units conducted a field inspection of the trial run with load of 4 horizontal pump units and load test of the irrigation canals of the Pumping Station, in order to assess the irrigation capacity and promptly detect arising problems, ensuring effective service for operation before completion. It is expected that by June 2025, the project will be handed over to Tay Ninh Irrigation Exploitation Company Limited for operation.

Test run of the main water channel of Tan Long Pumping Station.

The Tan Long Pumping Station Project in Tan Long Hamlet, Bien Gioi Commune, Chau Thanh District, invested by the Project Management Board of Investment and Construction of the Agriculture and Rural Development Sector of Tay Ninh Province , started construction in December 2023, with a total investment of more than 218 billion VND, with the goal of ensuring irrigation water for more than 730 hectares of agricultural land in Bien Gioi Commune.

Tan Long pumping station takes water directly from Nang Dinh canal through a 1,665m long channel to supply water to 4 horizontal centrifugal pump sets (including 3 main pumps and 1 backup pump), each with a capacity of 1,600 ^m3 /hour, supplying irrigation water through the main irrigation canal system with a total length of about 3,580m and the primary irrigation canal system with a length of 9,912m. In addition, the project also invests in 11,382m of drainage canal, with a trapezoidal cross-section earthen canal structure.
