The Tan Long Pumping Station project in Tan Long hamlet, Bien Gioi commune, Chau Thanh district, is invested by the Investment and Construction Project Management Board of the Agriculture and Rural Development sector of Tay Ninh province. Construction began in December 2023 with a total investment of over 218 billion VND, aiming to ensure irrigation water for more than 730 hectares of agricultural land in Bien Gioi commune.
The Tan Long pumping station draws water directly from the Nang Dinh canal via a 1,665m long channel, supplying water to four horizontal centrifugal pumps (including three main pumps and one backup pump), each with a capacity of 1,600 m³ /hour. These pumps provide irrigation water through a main irrigation canal system with a total length of approximately 3,580m and a 9,912m long first-level irrigation canal system. In addition, the project also includes the construction of 11,382m of drainage canals with trapezoidal cross-sections.
