Maximizing potential and advantages.

Huong Thuy Ward has a favorable geographical location, bordering developed urban areas such as An Van Duong and new urban areas under development in neighboring wards; it is also adjacent to Phu Bai International Airport, and close to Phu Bai Industrial Park and Gilimex Industrial Park. The area is traversed by many major transportation routes such as National Highway 1A and its bypass, To Huu Road to Phu Bai International Airport (under construction), Thuan Hoa Road connecting to Phu Vang, Provincial Road 10, and Provincial Road 18 connecting to Vinh Thanh... This provides favorable conditions for developing regional transportation connectivity, promoting investment attraction, expanding urban space, and developing service, trade, and logistics sectors, creating momentum for socio-economic growth in the coming period.

The majority of the production area in the ward is located on high ground, making it suitable for the development of construction, small-scale industries, and trade and services. The ward still has considerable potential and room for development, creating favorable conditions for planning the development of urban areas, concentrated commercial and service zones; planning the development of small and medium-sized industrial clusters, and developing high-tech agriculture...

According to Mr. Ngo Van Vinh, leveraging its potential and advantages, Huong Thuy ward encourages the formation of small and medium-sized enterprises and cooperatives operating in the fields of trade, services, industry - handicrafts, and high-tech agriculture. The locality plans to adjust the zoning plan to form a cluster of small-scale handicrafts along Tran Hoan Street (the area bordering the former Thuy Tan - Thuy Luong); develop and improve the quality of commercial service establishments and restaurants along main roads such as Thuan Hoa and Vo Trac (along the Dai Giang River, along the southern dike of the Huong River) and central areas... in order to increase the value and proportion of the construction and service industries.

Huong Thuy focuses on developing agriculture based on the potential and advantages of the ward; prioritizing the development of high-value economic products with stable markets and strengthening the application of scientific and technological advancements in production to improve productivity and product quality; promoting the development of agricultural products that meet VietGAP and OCOP standards... High-efficiency, environmentally friendly farm and household livestock breeding, and the development of industrial and ecological aquaculture are emphasized by the ward to improve efficiency and value per unit area of cultivation.

Departments and agencies are focusing on promoting and attracting investors to implement projects in the Thuy Chau 2 industrial cluster, the ecological golf course urban area west of Chau Son Lake, the urban area east of Chau Son Lake, etc., in order to create further breakthroughs in the socio-economic development of the locality.
