"I hope the match will be fair," striker Nguyen Van Quyet shared before the match between Hanoi FC and Cong An Ha Noi (CAHN), within the framework of round 4 of V.League.

This season, referees in the National Championship have caused public opinion many times because of wrong decisions. In round 3, center back Giap Tuan Duong (CAHN) kicked straight into the ankle of a Binh Duong player with both feet. Despite VAR and consultation with the linesmen, main referee Le Vu Linh only gave a yellow card.

Or in round 2, referee Le Vu Linh did not recognize Le Van Thang's goal when he scored against CAHN. Mr. Vu Linh commented that Van Thang had fouled a CAHN player, while his impact was insignificant. After consecutive mistakes, referee Le Vu Linh was suspended from working in round 4 of V.League.

Besides the referee issue, Van Quyet is determined to get a positive result against CAHN because before the V.League, the purple team had suffered a 1-2 defeat against this opponent in a friendly match. More broadly, in the last 4 confrontations between the 2 clubs, CAHN won 3 times. In contrast, Hanoi only won once.

"The whole team will try to concentrate. Hanoi Club aims to win at least 1 point when playing CAHN" , striker Van Quyet set the goal.

Hanoi FC lost 3 out of the last 4 matches against CAHN.

Hanoi FC lost 3 out of the last 4 matches against CAHN.

The former player of the Vietnam national team said that Hanoi welcomed the return of some important players. This is a necessary source of motivation for Le Duc Tuan and his team to strive to achieve good results: "After returning from the national team, we also welcomed the return of some players such as Tuan Hai and foreign players. With foreign players, they have to play on the field to evaluate their abilities. During training, we always encourage them to integrate well."

The striker born in 1993 commented that CAHN Club is a strong team, especially in defense. However, Hanoi Club has carefully watched the video, studied the opponent, and designed new "attacks". He is confident of a positive result against the police team.

"We won in the last round. This is a source of motivation for the whole team to focus, make efforts, and play well at home. The team with more determination and effort will win," said striker Van Quyet.

The match between Hanoi Club and Hanoi Police is a match of round 4 of V.League 2024-25, taking place at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, October 19 at Hang Day Stadium.
