Van Quyet graduated with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Sports.

On the morning of June 30th, striker Nguyen Van Quyet received his Bachelor's degree in Football from Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports . Accompanying him at the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Giang Dong – his father-in-law, his wife Nguyen Huyen My, and his son Nguyen Van Quan.

This is an important preparation for the future of the striker born in 1991. He will aim for a coaching and sports management position after retiring from his playing career. Van Quyet will also participate in coaching courses organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

Van Quyet received his Bachelor's degree in Football from university.

Nguyen Van Quyet joined Hanoi FC in 2010. During his 13 years playing for the capital city team, he rose from a young player to captain and made a significant contribution to Hanoi FC's success. Van Quyet scored 107 goals in the V-League alone.

He won the V-League five times, the National Cup three times, and the National Super Cup four times with his team. At the national team level, Van Quyet played a crucial role from 2013-2017. Under coach Park Hang Seo, Van Quyet captained the Vietnamese national team at the 2018 AFF Cup, where they won the championship. He was absent from several training camps afterward, only returning for the 2022 AFF Cup.

In the 2023 V-League season, Van Quyet was suspended for 8 matches for his uncontrolled behavior towards the referee. However, he remains the top Vietnamese goalscorer in the league with 6 goals. Many of Van Quyet's goals have directly contributed to victories for Coach Bandovic's team.

Van Quyet will return to Hanoi FC after four more matches. He could play in the second half of the second phase, when Hanoi FC enters a tense championship race with Hanoi Police FC, Thanh Hoa FC, and Viettel FC.
