I recently had the opportunity to spend two months in Quang Ngai on a business trip, and these are some of the images I captured during my journey exploring Quang Ngai, a region almost unknown on the Vietnamese tourism map (except for Ly Son Island).
During my travels in Quang Ngai, I had the opportunity to visit completely pristine beaches like Chau Tan beach with its fine white sand and crystal-clear, tranquil waters; to set foot on the Ba Lang An Lighthouse, built in 1982, offering a view of an ancient volcano crater that has been inactive for thousands of years; and to experience moments of awe before the majestic VioLak Pass – the pass connecting Quang Ngai and Gia Lai , with its sea of clouds embracing the mountains and endless green forests surrounding the winding road. There are also many other places I haven't had the chance to visit yet, such as An Khe Lagoon and the Sa Huynh cultural area.
Standing before a landscape untouched by nature's beauty, all my worries seemed to vanish. There, only the sound of the waves, the wind, the chirping of the local people, and an indescribable feeling of freedom could be heard. That feeling awakened the deepest emotions within me. During my days in Quang Ngai , amidst that pristine nature, I realized there are timeless values that nothing can replace – a wordless connection between humanity and the earth.
